Personal Chapter – After 2024
In 2024, Vilmos Podolyák had both of his legs amputated. Yet this life-changing moment did not break his artistic spirit — on the contrary, it deepened it. He began painting in a new expressive style, creating more intimate, emotional visual worlds. The brush remains firmly in his hand, and painting is no longer just art for him, but a vital force of life.
Today, Vilmos is raising funds to acquire prosthetic legs, hoping to regain his mobility and once again attend exhibitions in person. Every painting sold contributes directly to this goal.
“Painting is my freedom. Even if I cannot walk, through my hands I can go anywhere.”
